We, at The Creative School, believe that children are robust learners therefore with all of our programs (Infant&Toddler, Preschool, and Elementary), we strive to foster not only the love of the outdoors but also a lifelong love of learning.
Our programs are all mixed-age classrooms that offer many developmental benefits. Children help each other, mentor one another and learn from their younger and older peers. Each child actively constructs theories about their world and tests their hypotheses through play and social interactions.
Every day, teachers cultivate strong bonds with each child through thoughtful observations and interactions integrating play, academics, art, and music helping them to develop a deep and connected understanding of the world where each child feels secure to express their natural drive to learn.
Infant & Toddler Program

Our Infant/Toddler (for ages 0-36 months) program allows each little one to safely explore their thoughtfully designed surroundings inviting curiosity, building their competencies, learning to work together, constructively resolving conflicts, and growing while relying on teachers for guidance and nurturing focused on active play helps to encourage natural gross motor development experiencing the broader world in a whole new way.
Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to help meet the developmental goals of infants to move, explore and discover safely, and for toddlers to continue to carry out their investigations and experience life from a new perspective.
Preschool Program

Our preschool (for ages 3-5 years) program supports each child’s growth in natural, innovative ways by celebrating the initiative to think, learn, create, and do by providing a rich learning environment encouraging multi-sensory play and explorations that are focused on our trust in children and their capacity for building relationships with their surroundings, materials, each other, concepts, and nature.
Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to help learners meet all aspects of pre-academic skills and development empowering each child to grow with confidence and foster independence.
Elementary Program

We support each child in their individual learning journey.
Our K-5th grade program re-imagines traditional academics with a progressive project-based, hands-on, and collaborative environment using play and outdoor integration focused on honoring the multiple intelligences of each child through building self-motivation, critical thinking, decision making, growth mindset, and community building that value and encourage a child’s innate curiosity and capability.
Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to help learners meet grade-level and developmental goals creating a sense of security that allows them to thrive as individuals.
